Open Letter to the GOP – A Wake Up Call

Christmas has just passed by; Barrack Obama, Harry Reid & Nancy Pelosi have managed to overrun us with their Health Care Bill using distraction, extortion, and threats.

On the outlook of the 2010 midterm Election many Republicans pugnaciously give press conferences making statements like: “This issue is not over yet”; “The battle has just begun”; “Not with us” and so forth.

But how creditable are those statements? Are those the usual pre-election “please vote for me” Statements?

If the GOP really believes the 2010 Election is a slam dunk because People are angry with Obama, then the party fails to see the reality. Another Player emerges from behind and the Party does not seem to see it – The INDEPENDENT Conservative.

Where has the GOP been the past years? Has the party actually wasted one moment of time to find out why so many people now call themselves “Christian Reagan Conservatives” rather than Republicans?

The Washington Post calls the GOP “A Party both united and divided” (http://is.gd/5CiqO); and the attached Graphic shows you how (http://is.gd/5CimX).

I have supported every Republican Candidate from Ronald Reagan to George W. Bush to John McCain with all my power; Sent messages out; spread the word and told my friends, compatriots, and family members, and strangers online and on the streets to support the Republican cause.

But the bottom line is that most of the time the feedback was: Why and what for; I don’t really feel represented by the GOP as well, and since I definitely will not vote for the Democrats I would rather not go to the polls at all.

But somebody else has seen the times to come – the INDEPENDENT Conservative and those get stronger and stronger.

Why are they such a threat to the GOP? Well they are not bound by the party line, they don’t need the support of the party and what is most important – they can and do represent the people.

So what is wrong with that picture? I tell you what: Voters, Citizens – therefore the one people the GOP is supposed to represent are frustrated and discouraged.

Citizens want to feel and know that they are represented. Their needs are taken serious, their lifestyle is honored, and their interests are taken care of, but that is not the message the party sends. The party has done the opposite.

Here are some reasons why the GOP keeps losing creditability and voters:

Judeo – Christians

Other than during election time in the past centuries the party has never really taken a Stand for their Primarily Christian Voters nor have they looked out for our Jewish brethren.

And while the Christian conservatives throughout the entire country are the biggest supporters of Israel and the Jews, and all Republican Presidents have supported Israel; the party has failed to make notice of that fact and bring the Jewish community into the conservative cause. In fact, the Party has stood by and watched as the Jewish community supported the Democrats.

Where was the outrage of the GOP when piece by piece our entire Christian moral and ethical heritage has been taken away from us?

Where was the outrage when political Correct Diversity Preachers took away our constitutional rights of free speech and supported Homosexuality and Abortion?

The GOP was nowhere to be found and practiced Political correct Statements to make sure that they might find one or two future voters in the opposite camp – not realizing that with this blindness they lost lifelong Republican voters on a daily base.

Why isn’t the Party raising hell when Obama declares our Nation no longer a Christian Nation, yet every single one of the 50 States have “God” in their declaration?

Where is the party when Muslims keep insulting us, calling for the destruction of our Christian Heritage within the boundaries of our own country using OUR constitutional right of free speech and freedom of the Press to their advantage?

Where is the party when piece by piece our Christian Heritage is taken away from us, (crosses removed from the National Memorial, Ten Commandments removed from Federal Buildings and so forth)?

Nowhere to be found; NO, actually silent, practicing political correct Statements and diversity and betraying their voters – or at least that’s how the people feel it.

The GOP is silent, very silent, and WE THE PEOPLE feel left alone.

Racial Issues

It was the Republican Party that indicated the Civil Rights laws in the 60’s and the democrats opposing, but yet the GOP leaves the Democrats the field. Affirmative Actions, special minority funds for blacks only, and so forth angers Voters, because poor farm kids in the Midwest and all over the country do not get the same advantages that black kids do. And yet it never seems to be enough. As soon as any Black self proclaimed Civil Rights leader uses the word “Racism” as a Weapon for extortion and excuses for everything – The GOP Politicians duck and practice again political correct statements.

Instead of taking a stand and saying: Hey 60 years of special treatment is enough, its time you do what every American of every race needs to do – take care of your business. Instead of taking a stand and saying: Discrimination is wrong; but that goes both ways, the GOP politicians get real quiet and allow blacks everything while whites get nothing, and then wonder why racism in this country still exists – Well you produced it and still produce it.

Instead of taking a stand against Racism and promoting those Black Americans who made it out of their own strength and joining forces with the Black Americans supporting the party, yes, there are more than the GOP thinks, the GOP fails here as well, and leaves the entire field to the Democrats.

People believe the GOP only supports Major Cooperation’s – wrong Message:

People tell you that the Party only represents the Rich and Wealthy. I know this is not true. Bottom line is the GOP fails to bring the message out that this is the party of those who work hard to prosper and not the party of the lazy Ghetto people of all races, who believe that the government should take care of them.

The party fails to get the message out and profit from the hard working Americans by listening to them and honoring them.

Public Relations

Here is the GOP at its worst. While the democrats use every advantage to get their message out, slandering Republicans and Christian Conservatives wherever they can, the GOP is silent. You cannot tell me that in the entire Republican Movement we cannot find a PR Manager performing in supremacy.

Europe

Maybe the GOP should take a closer look at Europe. Look at their counterpart in Europe, the Christ-conservatives. While socialists all over Europe keep losing elections the Christ conservatives seem to be unable to profit from that movement. Yet both established Parties lose voters to independent small and sometimes left or right wing radical parties in both directions.

The result of this phenomenon is a landscape of rainbow parties (European Parties are identified by their color) and a permanent inconsistency in politics.

Conclusion

If the GOP does not want the same phenomenon as in Europe, then it is time for the party to wake up.
It is not important if the Party leaders or the remaining faithful Members know that we are the best choice for the people, the people – the voters need to recognize that and come back. But that will not happen if the party moves on as it has done the past years.

It is not enough to make marrowy speeches after losing a battle, like now after the Health Care disaster, it is not enough to appear at election time and show off.

The people, the voters need, want, and have the right to be heard all the time; they want to be lead and represented and they want to be valued.

One major reason the party lost the last Presidential Election was the permanent turnovers of John McCain; His permanent attempts to please as many as possible forgetting the basis of his consolidated voters. Or in laymen terms: He lost his entire creditability throughout the election.

Allowing Barrack Obama to turn the fight around and instead chasing Obama, with no experience Senator McCain became the bait and gave Obama the field with practically no fight whatsoever.

A very old common quote says: “Nobody can please everybody”

The Party clearly fails to consolidate their voters.

My Advice to the GOP

So it is time for the party leadership to get off its high horse and quit living in a dream land believing people will know anyway. If the Party does not want to keep losing voters the GOP needs to stop making foul compromises, selling out their consolidated voters, and start listening to the basis.

How can you move on and win others for the cause if you keep losing on the others side, your consolidated Voters? Don’t think that the new prospects are not going to see, or at least get the impression that once they have joined they will be left behind as well.

In order to move forward the GOP needs to concrete their basis – no house can be built on quicksand.

But in order to accomplish the strengthening of the GOP the party needs to stop practicing itself in senseless Diversity speeches, neck wrinkling behavior, and political correctness, and really start STANDING UP FOR THEIR PEOPLE and  for what is right. Show strength. This is how the party will regain creditability by their voters and show new and future prospective voters that they will always will be represented.

Unlike my friends I will not run away nor will I give up my Republican Membership; I don’t believe in running away – that is cowardliness, but I will keep on supporting young Republican Leaders who are on base, know what we feel, and are willing to represent our interests rather than those old blue collar “Country Club Politicians” running the party right now.

The Democrats will definitely not win the 2010 midterm election, but one thing is for sure – it is questionable if the GOP can enhance profit from this loss of the Democrats.

If the party does not turn around right away – NOW IS THE TIME – the only people profiting from this situation will be the capricious independent. And once the Independents are in the administration, the GOP will be lost. Let’s be honest – when it comes to being foul opportunists the Democrats are way far ahead of us.

2010 is not won just because the Democrats are losing.

I know that none of the GOP leaders will read this because they live in the clouds of their own choice, a glass house, and think they have gained the wisdom of the universe.

The GOP leaders live with the wrong impression – that people will know the truth and value of the party, no matter what, and that all it takes is to make the one or the other marrow statement. And the GOP does not have to do anything.

Well sometimes waking up can be very painful.

And though, I will continue my battle for the CHRISTIAN – Republican – Reagan – conservative Cause, and to defend the Constitution of the United States. I will keep choosing MY proper representatives and support them, judging them by their actions and not words.

And I will pray – pray that this country will prevail with or without the GOP. A new Generation of conservatives has emerged – the time for obedience is over.

It is time to thank the older Generation for their service, honor, valor, and as future advisors, and leave the field to the younger Generation – those who will stand tall for our cause.

May God Bless and protect America – Country that I Love

Sincerely

An Always faithful Christian Reagan Conservative Republican

  1. This is a very to the edge letter. We must remember too the powers that be have eliminated manufacturing for the USA, reducing to high tech and a dwindling service sector. What to do from this truth into the future requires jobs so people can take care of their own.

We must unite, despite of our past around one focus, the Constitution and the tax structure. The Judeo Community followed the leadership of a more global intent voting for someone who is very much a threat of apathy and loyalty to their Nation.

Bottom line is the GOP must repent and return to the Constitution. The adage,, we have been gone for so long, is not appropriate, not Patriotic, and by Constitutional terms, treason.

Those who adamantly refuse to vote Republican, don’t be too foolish. Yes, until now, voting third party did not change what the two parties have offered. But now it is different. The People have woke up to the majority of your platform. What this means is your knowledge and experience is now needed to consume the GOP and clean up the Tent.
The one step needed to do the cleaning is to hang a sign at the entrance: “”Fundamental Constitution Rules here, all welcome”.

    1. Thank you for your great comment; I totally agree with you. Please feel free to pass it on inclusive your comment to make sure we wake up voters. Whenever people told me that they wont vote at all; I told the “This is wrong, thist just leaves the field to the dems, not voting or protest voting is not an option voting and supporting the right Republican candidates is the option. Again thank you for your reply and plese feel free to pass it on.

“Affirmative Actions, special minority funds for blacks only, and so forth angers Voters, because poor farm kids in the Midwest and all over the country do not get the same advantages that black kids do.”

Did you know that Affirmative Action actually helps more white women than it does black people? Affirmative Action increases diversity of all kinds, including physical disabilities, military career, and sex. So if those poor farm kids are women or military vets, they will actually benefit from Affirmative Action.

“Instead of taking a stand and saying: Hey 60 years of special treatment is enough”

Can you explain what you mean by this; enough for what, exactly? Enough for being considered three-fifths of a person while whites were considered a whole person? Enough for lynching and burning them just because of the color of their skin? Enough for passing compulsory ignorance laws?

Whites mistreated blacks for over two hundred years; in my opinion, sixty years of “special treatment” (by which you mean, “they” get the same opportunities that you do) seems much too short.

“the GOP politicians get real quiet and allow blacks everything while whites get nothing”

I would hardly agree that whites get nothing. If you look at the statistics, white men make an average of $44,152 while black men make $34,770 on average – and black women make even less (U.S. Census Bureau). The top twenty wealthiest Americans are all white, and there are only a handful of black people in the top 400 wealthiest people (Forbes.com). Can you clarify your stance that whites get nothing, considering these statistics?

“Instead of taking a stand against Racism and promoting those Black Americans who made it out of their own strength”

Could you please tell me, sir, how America was able to develop its economy and excel as a young country, becoming the economic superpower that we are today? Was it the White Americans who planted and harvested the cotton and tobacco? Was it the White Americans who worked tirelessly to produce the crops and work long hours to build the railroads? History says it was not. Knowing this, it is hard to understand why you would think that Black Americans must “make it out of their own strength” when, in the entire history of this country, White Americans have never been required to do the same thing.

I look forward to your reply.

    1. First let me say, that my comments here are based on own experiences and what I hear from people during elections. This is what people hear out there and see out there and how they feel. And though I know every black has at least one sad story I can provide at least one from the other side.

I don’t judge people by their skin color but their actions and by observing.

Did you know that Affirmative Action actually helps more white women than it does black people? Affirmative Action increases diversity of all kinds, including physical disabilities, military career, and sex. So if those poor farm kids are women or military vets, they will actually benefit from Affirmative Action.

      I am not sure where you get that from, fact of my own experience – my ex wife works for the VA as a level 12 social worker, when a job opening for a class 13 job was in stake she made the proper classes and was turned down, got her upgrade and was turned down for a less qualified black woman; – that is called quote regulations; And that is not a single case I can tell you alot more;

New Haven Fire fighter case; when it comes to promote a Lt. 20 people take it upon them to make extra classes including a minority based Hispanic, jeopardizing even their families wealth by giving up the second job and made the test. When it comes to promotion, no black has take extra classes the black reps demanded a black to be promoted or protests are on immediately using “racism” as weapon for blackmail. What does that tell us? What does that tell the American people – it does not matter how hard you work as long as you are black is all you need the word racism and you get what you want. This is the message people hear out there.

And you have to think of what the people hear, and what the people hear is what I repeat.

I can tell you, don’t get me started on over 200 years, considering the billions of billions of Dollars of special educations funds and so on. I heard a black reverend going hard on his own people, and he really impressed me, when he said: 90% of the blacks these days done even know what disadvantage actually is, especially the young ones born after the early 70’s. Always living in the past and using history as excuse does not get us anywhere in the future. We should learn from the past and not using it as excuse.

21 Colleges for blacks only (whites prohibited) for example – have you ever tried it the other way around? Al Sharpton and his blackmailing criminal bunch would run ballistic. And I could give you a whole list of things that are not right at all.

And when you talk about income than you also need to consider the not black people in the coutnry, farm lands and rural areas where even white live on low income. Not every white makes as much as you say; adn those kids get turned down for college funds because they dont fit the racial requirement. I can bring you 100 examples here. And again those are the people who are supposed to vote and they dont give a dam about your 44 grants all they see is “My child gets nothign while blacks get it all”

I don’t know where you come from but in my company income is based on experience & qualification. And franky I dont give a rats behind what color that person has, as long as he works proper and according to his contract but on the other hand I will be freaking damed if I let any kind of govermnet force me to hire blacks on quotes or even worst that criminal jerk of Sharpton Black mail me, I hire on qualification and experience and that is it. And if a black does not apply for a job than is that not my problem – remember – you go where the job is not vice versa and I am not asking you if you want to come I offer a job and its up to you to either apply or not and if not you go down, but than you have no right to live of my tax dollar and demonstrate against me and call me a racist and how poor and disadvantiged you are.

And as far as within the 400 top, well I had to make my own fortune and nobody helped me, so stay out of gangs, go to school, make a carrier and get a job and that is all it takes. And you know what the black business people I work with do agree with me. And you do not want to hear them talking about their own people.
I don’t see myself as racist but just like blacks reserve to right to destroy half of cities when protesting and saying what they want I reserve for myself the right to questions certain things. That is called being mature; I hate that alone the fact that I disagree allows blacks to slender me as racists while they reserve the right to criticize as much as they want.

Alone from my voting area and friends I can bring you at least a dozen of examples of where whites have been downsized.
I know there is still much to change but the way it is now is more producing racism than it solves. And that does not only come from less educated people that come from people of all shades and educational standards.

      1. progressivescholar

Sir, for every one story you tell me where a white person was unfairly treated based on Affirmative Action, I can tell you 100 stories about black people that have been treated unfairly because of white privilege. There is no comparison, end of story.

“I don’t know where you come from but in my company income is based on experience & qualification. And franky I dont give a rats behind what color that person has, as long as he works proper and according to his contract”

The fact is that schools where a majority of the students are black receive less funding and old materials than schools where most of the students are white. How are black kids expected to gain the same experience and qualifications as white kids in better schools? If you say that you think everything should be equal, and the color of your skin should not matter, then you should also be a proponent of all students receiving the same quality of K-12 education. This is the only way that every one will be on an equal paying field in terms of experience and qualification. There is no equal playing field in America today, and the GOP certainly isn’t fighting for it.

“Always living in the past and using history as excuse does not get us anywhere in the future. We should learn from the past and not using it as excuse.”

It is a common talking point among conservatives to say that we should not live in the past; it allows them to wash their hands of all past mistreatment and deny taking responsibility. I must be misunderstanding what “conservative” really means, then. Doesn’t the word “conservative” come from “conserve”, meaning to keep in place what is currently in place? Specifically to conserve the principles on which our country was founded? How is that not living in the past? It seems to me that you would like to live in the idealized past, whereas I would like to learn from the actual past.

Also, Al Sharpton does not speak for all black people so if you really want to be taken seriously you shouldn’t evoke his name every time you mention black people. Would you assume that all white people agree with what Howard Dean says? After all Howard Dean is white so he must speak for the all white people, right?
