DADT – The Untold Agenda

This Column is not about gays. What is right or wrong for other people is not for me to decide. I am heterosexual and just like I do not share with anybody my sexual preferences in the bedroom (other than with my spouse) I am not interested in the sexual preferences of others.

  • Just like I reserve the right to say to a heterosexual man: I do not respect that you are going to prostitutes, or you cheat on your wife so please don’t bother me with your “hunting stories”,
  • I reserve the right to say to a gay: Your lifestyle contradicts my ethical, moral, and religious beliefs so please stick to professionalism and don’t bother me with your ideology.

I don’t dislike the man I dislike the lifestyle and that goes for both.

Since Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid pushed, in their very own charming way (with threats and blackmail), the DADT repeal through the House and the Senate and Obama signed off on that thing with a huge and big grin on his face, many blogs and articles have been written about this and the possible why and what for.

I read them all, from all the great minds; From Michelle Malkin to Ann Coulter, from Chuck Norris to Bill O’Rilley. All of their thoughts about DADT are right but for some reason, none of them have come up with what might be the real agenda behind this radical move.

DADT (Don’t Ask Don’t Tell)

Yes DADT is all about gay rights, but more than that, DADT is also the proof that my upcoming book is going to hit the nail right on the head – if WE THE PEOPLE dare to reject an agenda of a minority it will be indoctrinated on us with fascist lethal force wrapped up as law, immediately making “opposition a punishable offense”.

And if that does not help, downsizing opposition as either radicals or insinuate a Mental Illness by the opposition calling them “Homophobe”.

Homophobe

Homo – the genus that includes modern humans. The word is originated from the Latin language, meaning “human being” or “man” (in the gender-neutral sense). (Source – Wikipedia:  http://is.gd/jH5Pc)

Phobia (φόβος,phóbos): This word comes from the Greek language and stands for “fear”, “morbid fear”. Generally used when an irrational, intense and persistent fear of certain situations, activities, things, animals or people. In psychology a phobia is considered an “Anxiety disorder” (Source – Wikipedia: http://is.gd/jH6N5).

So bottom line: if you dare to disagree with something liberal radical Pundits like the Democrats, Gay-Rights-Activists, Abortion activists, or the ACLU promote such as Homosexuality or Muslims,

80% of the American people do NOT HAVE AN OPINION but a MENTAL DISORDER called Homophobe or Muslimphobe or any other liberal Agenda we might disagree with.

Back to DADT:

Gay rights are a huge agenda and the past years gay activists have lobbied and kept courts on their toes like no other activists group. Alone in the State of California, where over 52% of the Voters (WE THE PEOPLE) decided that Gay’s should not have been considered equal to traditional marriage the Agenda goes back and forth in courts I lost track.

We the people have spoken and that is to be respected by everybody and should be the end of it.

But not in California; The U.S. District Court ruled on August 4, 2010 in “Perry v. Schwarzenegger” proposition 8 unconstitutional. This ruling hearing starts on December 6, 2010, and is expected to affect all same sex marriage bans in the United States (Source – Wikipedia: http://is.gd/jHelM).

As you can see on the map below, the vast majority of the 50 States rejects or ban same sex marriage.

Pelosi, Reid, Obama, and all the other radical pundits did not want to wait on an uncertain ruling. The plan is pretty simple, by repealing DADT without waiting on the Court Ruling from the U.S. Supreme Court they sent a message to the court and to the people and the message is Clear – WE GET WHAT WE WANT ONE WAY OR THE OHER EVEN IF IT IS THROUGH THE BACKDOOR.

Some blindfolded romantics are going to sit back and think ok, now they can say publically they are gay. But that is not where it’s going to stop. This was just the first step to macerate the antoganism of the public and force indoctrination on the people.

Considering:

1) DADT repeal is not just about the rights of gay’s to out themselves without punishment. This was only the first step to gain all the rights and benefits of traditional married couples in the United States Armed Forces. Those are:

  • Medical Treatment – every active member and their legally married spouse as well as their children are entitled to full medical and dental coverage on the Military base and have prescription medicine at a lower cost in all drug stores.
  • Tax Free shopping – every military personnel (Uniformed and civilian) with an active ID card is entitled to shop in so called PX Stores, store similar to Wall Mart (you get everything from food to electric to gardening) tax free.
  • The use of Military gyms for military personnel and their family members
  • The use of military amenities for personnel and family members
  • Better travel deals on vacations for military personnel and family members
  • Any many more benefits.

But those benefits are only available for Military personnel and their legally married spouses and children.

The next step for gay activists will therefore be to fight for equality rights on all of those benefits and the full acceptance on gay marriage.

2) In order to become eligible for those advantages, gays now have to push forward to gain Marriage permissions. What that basically means as of now is civil lawsuits are practically programmed.

FEDERAL INTEREST ABOVE STATE INTEREST. Ever head of this term? Well if you look at the map above the vast majority of the States deny or prohibit same sex marriage, but Military bases are not considered State property.

On military bases State Law does not apply only Federal Law.

That means that through the backdoor not only gay rights have been pushed on us, but also State sovereignty is now being questioned or respectively destroyed.

Should a base be in one of those States that prohibit gay marriage the soldier can always turn to the Military Pastorate. Those have the same authority to perform marriages under federal license. And a military cleric cannot refuse based on religious beliefs because a Military Cleric is not in the first place a priest; he is in the first place a COMMISSIONED OFFICER OF THE UNITED STATES ARMED FORCES under the chain of command. And their rules here are clear. The priest has only three choices when being ordered to uphold matrimony:

  • Apply with the order against his personal beliefs – discrimination
  • Refuse to follow orders – Greetings from the Court-martial and Leavenworth
  • Or resign and give up all benefits, such as pension, VA rights, etc, etc.

And the resistance of the Independent States prohibiting Gay Marriage will probably be even worse now. No State legislation can accept to be double crossed and overrun by radical Washington Pundits. Not if State legislators want to be re-elected.

3) And finally the discrimination of heterosexual members of the Armed Forces. For instance:

  • Showering – if you are a woman knowing I am a heterosexual man, would you just comply when somebody tells you, now you have to shower with me in the same bathroom?

Absolutely not and of course you have every right to protest. You would claim privacy rights, and make it a point that you do not feel comfortable being in the same room with a man, all naked. You would make it a statement that you would constantly feel observed or stalked and your sense of privacy is violated – AGAIN, I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU ON THAT AND YOU HAVE EVERY RIGHT.

But then please tell me: As a heterosexual man or woman, why should a soldier be forced to take a shower with a homosexual or a lesbian? What if it makes the hetero soldier uncomfortable wondering all the time if this person is checking him/her out?

Other than women the representatives of the male population don’t have the same rights. We are automatically downsized and insulted as mentally ill calling us homophobic. This is pure discrimination on our moral, ethical, and religious beliefs.

So how to deal with the situation

On the contrary the scream of Hetero groups to repeal the repeal (what a word wrap) would also be contra productive as well. Many good conservative Christians have gay family members. The damage is done and now we have to deal with it. So here is my suggestion as of what can be done now:

  • Permission for Heterosexual Soldiers to demand their own showers without slandering them or labeling them as mentally Ill (Homophobe) – they have an opinion and beliefs, and not a sickness
  • No gay marriages performed on Military bases unless the United States Supreme Court makes a constitutional amendment on it and declares that rightful under the constitution.
  • Marriages should only apply according to State Law of the Military Base Location.
  • No special Treatment and no access to Married Couple benefits unless Gay marriage is confirmed under the Constitution.

Take the right to outing and be happy with it.

What has DADT repeal done to the Gay movement?

Well, the entire performance was in my opinion the worse thing Obama, Reid, and Pelosi could have done for the Gay’s rights of acceptance.

The entire procedure performed by President B.H. “Adolf Hitler” Obama, Nancy “Eva Brown” Pelosi, and Harry “Joseph Goebbels” Reid in Corporation with the “Nazi Propaganda ministry” ACLU and other radical Left wing pundits has totally set back the efforts of the gays who are looking for final acceptance.

This country has been built by men and women who started a war against a totalitarian oppressing king because of his attempts to force his will on them.

Do civil rights activists really think now in the 21st Century they can do just the same and get away with it?

Do they really think that forcing laws on the people disrespecting and discriminating their free choice by putting them down and insulting them as radicals and mentally ill makes the very same people more accepting of minorities such as gays or Muslims?

If that’s what you think Obama than you ARE DUMBER THAN MUD.

It is the opposite that is true. The more force politicians put on the people, the more insults they start, and the more discrimination against the majority happens the more likely people will stand up, and start another civil war. The word revolution is now used more than ever and we are not far from it.

And the anger among the people is fermenting more and more and it increases on a daily basis because all those forceful lobbying, those provocative self display of alternative lifestyle (Rainbow parades), insults and putting down people of conservative opinions does not make supporters.

And to the gay people out there – before you cheer in victorious exuberance please take a moment and think if this was not more hurtful to your cause than you would like to admit.

Whatever I personally think about this “Alternative Lifestyle” this entire thing has nothing to do with me and my personal beliefs, this has to do with your rights to do in your own bedroom what you feel free to do as long as it is consensual.

But this radical dictatorial act was not the way to gain what you believe you are entitled too.

MAY GOD BLESS AMERICA

I hope a lot of people will read them and tell you their opinion for discuss.

    1. I have tried not to be presumptios and see this from a distant perspective, hopefully people make up their own mind. Thanks for your kind words

While I believe in the freedom of the individual, I do not have to agree with their lifestyle. I feel that if we as Americans lean towards permitting such lifestyles into law, that we are in fact contributing to the demolition of our morals and giving into communism in America. While it is said that one life choice should not effect another directly, it absolutely does, it affects the family structure of all. To prove my point we need to look no further then the public school system and media geared towards our young, both are promoting this life style on our teens, the teenage years as we all know are very impressionable, and very confusing, my true feelings on this subject are that the radical left is bloviating and embellishing this lifestyle to appeal to our young whether these children have gay tendancies or not..As a communist step this is to tear down the family unit..

    1. I agree with you; ACLU, Planned Parenthood and all the other radical governmental paid and supported destroyer of a Christian moral nation are the first one that needs to be stopped or we have conditions like in europe where 14 year olds are legally having sex, moral is down the drain, 14 year olds can buy beer and get drunk, 14 year olds and younger run around half naked in public and partially totally naked (topless) in public baths. and so on – SO LETS START THE FIGHT AND LOBBYISM ON A CONSERVATIVE MORAL NATION and break the neck of the radical socialists – thanks for reading and God bless

Very interesting points you place here my friend, while I agree with you for most part, and I believe that you are right on the consequences and possible reasons of this act. Things are more deep than that, it’s about the morale of our troops, so far they take over almost everything to make of this Nation, a fascism Nation, just need to destroy the troops, and the best way to do it is from the inside.
I have many friends that has been in the service, I was in a military base for 6 years, I knew some gay people there, everyone knew, but no one bother with them, respect was there, because in the end one need to focus on more important issues. Like stay alive.

When I see the consequences that you present on the civil aspect of things, I have to agree with you, but to destroy the Armed Force he need to do it by take the morale of the potential military person… start with the miranda rights for terrorist, patrol with out bullets on their weapons, very much send them to a certain dead, and now the DADT ban… if they bring the troops in chaos, he will have the excuse to bring another army, the one he promise that will be created “as powerful and strong is our 4 branches” so one must wonder, if this happen, and chaos is the answer, will be easy for him to bring to the people the ineptitud of the service men/women and “promise” to the people to create in army must better and one “we can all trust” that remind me the youth of the SS, or gestapo.

If he’s what we all suspect he’s, Muslim, gay is against his believes, he will not do anything to favor them, but to know who they are, if he’s a Muslim gay are in dangers to expose who they are, so as you said, he don’t favor them, he’s exposing them, while at the same time try to destroy the Military.

True is, that like you, I don’t care what kind of life anyone live, but I do not agree with that type of life, I don’t want to know about it (even if I know about it) and I don’t need to accepted as part of my personal life, and I don’t…

It’s going to take months before this can be implemented, mean while is already law suit against it, because the majority decide that it’s not for security reasons, and we’re fighting two wars… so let looking ahead in the future, and try to figure out where is our input and effort can make difference to bring the right path to this Nation, it’s with out a doubt the intent to destroy the values and principles of the family base…it’s a way to destroy a Nation, we must continue the fight and not give up…

Great article my friend, read it twice to gather everything… those point that you have mention are of great possible scenario, but we must look all of others, so together we can change things.

    Thank you for sharing.

    God Bless.

  5. Food for thought on a worldly level. What does the Bible say, Tom. We keep thumbing our noses at God.

    1. I am in total agreement with you and the Bible is clear on that. I am practicing Christian and definitly know the word of God on that topic, that is why I made it, on several ocasions a point to state out “the moral and religious reasons”. And if you follow my postings you know that I am all on your side, however on this blog I wantet to go a different path. Hundrets of columns have been written on this topic and almost all focus exclusive on the religious part, I wantet to go a different path and show how Gay movement is surounding Independent states by law to fullfill the radical Agenda.

Thank you for your comment and thanks for being a reader. God bless you

  7. Tom, retaining DADT to refute some perceived agenda is cutting off one’s nose to spite the face.

The core rationale for a repeal stems from the simple premise that no one should be in constant peril of being removed from employment because they are attracted to the same sex. If you object to the repeal, it makes sense to address this premise directly.

Opposing it simply because of an associated “agenda” is a chilling, calculated approach that treats gay and bisexual servicemembers as mere pawns in a game of political chess. As a policy, DADT affects real human beings; you pay for it with money, livelihoods and dignity.

Speaking of dignity, you mention the “showering” situation. I am always a little astonished when people justify putting someone out of a job because their co-workers might not want to shower around them! I’m gay, and I don’t much like communal changing rooms or showers either; but I’m forced to shower and change with other men if I want to go swimming or to the gym. The same is true of high school students the world over.

Gay men and women need to shower and change every bit as badly as everyone else. We have been doing it all our lives—we have no more choice than you do! All we want to do is get clean and get dressed. The fact that some people assume otherwise is not our fault.

I keep harking back to your imaginary request addressed to a gay person:

“Your lifestyle contradicts my ethical, moral, and religious beliefs so please stick to professionalism and don’t bother me with your ideology.”

I consider emotional maturity to be the cornerstone of professionalism. All human beings hold ethical, moral and religious beliefs, and often their beliefs are in conflict with the beliefs and lifestyles of their friends and co-workers. What distinguishes emotional maturity, in this respect, is the ability to treat others with respect and dignity, despite their differences.

For a gay servicemember, DADT didn’t just mean “professionalism”. It meant constant evasions, being on your guard even when seeking advice from a counsellor. It meant lying to your friends. It meant not putting your partner as next-of-kin, and relying on others to tell them if you got hurt or killed. Most importantly, it meant living with the constant understanding that all it would take for you to lose your job would be a single moment of indiscretion.

Does this show respect to someone who sincerely wants to defend their nation? Can you recognise someone’s dignity while demanding that they compromise their integrity? It is my sincere belief that DADT does not encourage professionalism, but unprofessionalism. Instead of training servicemembers to deal maturely with conflict, it allows them to remain disrespectful and puts the onus on gay servicemembers to suffer, hide and deceive on their behalf.

    1. J.B.,
First let me thank you for your response. Finally this is what I was waiting for, a representative of the gay that states his opinion. This is what we need, an open and honest discussion on the topic. So let’s start out of it on a mature and open discussion.

If you have read my blog, you see that I do not downsize gay. I do have some gay friends (no I am not a liberal who brags about it) who are, themselves absolutely not happy with how that was implemented. See my problem in the blog was that

      a) A blog should not be too long and therefore
      b) I have to bring as much information in as less words as possible

When I brought up the shower thing, I was pointing out one of many issues. And the issue is not the “Shower” itself; the issue is the right to have an opinion, no matter if the opinion is good or bad, right or wrong.

Who decides what opinion is right or wrong? You? The Government? The society? Hell no only the individual himself. And this is the problem I have, that the individuals right to an opinion is not given.

      You wrote:

I am sorry if you got the wrong impression – I was trying to address or better attack the premises directly, I was not intending to attack gay I intended to attack as off how the DADT repeal was performed. And as far as I am informed “Eva Braun” Pelosi and “Joseph Goebbels” Reid are still hetero. It was the action I attack and not the gay.

Bottom line is that, DADT installment was nonsense in the first place. The moment U.S. Supreme Court decided being Gay is legal that should have not been an issue at all. But with installment of DADT the entire issue was artificially boosted.

Opposing it simply because of an associated “agenda” is a chilling, calculated approach that treats gay and bisexual servicemembers as mere pawns in a game of political chess. As a policy, DADT affects real human beings; you pay for it with money, livelihoods and dignity.

Here I am in total agreement with you. With the forcefull and thoughtless repeal for sol political calculating reasons the entire Gay movement has become a pawn for liberal politicians in the outlook of 2012 election and drove a even bigger wedge in the discussion.

Back to what I was trying to say from the begin with: The showering situation is one of many things. It was an example to be used. If you really read my blog it is not really about the showering, it is about the right to an opinion and the unfair treatment. In ever form of society there are genuine and radical representatives. While those (of the gay group) I know are usually pretty much normal guys, make a living and don’t run around pushing their lifestyle on everybody’s face or in other words are not any different than we are. But than those are not the people you see on TV, one sees the rainbow parade, one see’s the meanwhile world famous “Vienna Life Ball” and one hears the constant appearance from radical interest groups on TV demanding their right to say it no matter if you want to hear it or not and on the opposite as soon as one opposes downsizing the opposition or worst accusing them as radical, bible basher or mentally ill (Homophobe). Not taking up the discussion allowing conservatives to have an opinion and that is what I condemn. The left wing shifts of control the discussion in one direction.

I truly believe if we stop (and that goes for both sides) that artificial discussion and just move on, allowing everybody his own opinion sooner or later things will just become a regular situation. And when you mention high schools or Armed Forces things will just come to the point where some don’t care and some refuse, well it is their own problem. Everybody is entitled to an opinion and EVERYBODY gay and straight is entitled to have their individual right to chose whether they want to be surrounded by the opposition or not.

The problem is, when we start to get to normal, ACORN and ACLU would become senseless so they keep the hatred going, playing one side against the other in order to justify their worthless existence.

Gay men and women need to shower and change every bit as badly as everyone else. We have been doing it all our lives—we have no more choice than you do! All we want to do is get clean and get dressed. The fact that some people assume otherwise is not our fault.

No argument about there. Again I just chose who I am showering with, and like I refuse to go in a mixed Sauna (male and female mixed) because it contradicts my sense of shame I allow some less educated or more radical representatives of the hetero fraction to say they don’t want to shower with a gay – hell right or wrong – it is their opinion and other than ACLU, ACORN and the DEMS claim they are not homophobe (Mentally ill) or radical they just have an opinion and God bless America we have the freaking right to be sometimes dead wrong.

I keep harking back to your imaginary request addressed to a gay person:

“Your lifestyle contradicts my ethical, moral, and religious beliefs so please stick to professionalism and don’t bother me with your ideology.”

It is my beliefs. And I tell my friends as well and they respect my position like I respect their lifestyle – no further discussion needed.

      Amen.

Service member no matter if gay or Hetero are the bravest and most admired people in my heart. God bless all of them. And I was in the service myself, I cover your back and you cover mine, nothing happens to you on my watch. Again, it is my honest believe that those “evasions” you are talking about only exist because of the radical, let’s call it, Public relations work of the interest group keeping a wedge between the encampment’s forcefully justifying their federal funded existence. It is not any different with the black Americans. American has changed the past 60 years. As long as radical NAACP and Al Sharpton keep the completely idiotic wedge in society things will never change. The trick in my opinion is to take the wedge out and let things slow down and come to a normal situation.

Bottom line it is UPT TO YOU AS GAY MAN to call those idiotic groups and say look fellas stop that fighting you make it worst for us than it should be.

I make a bet with you, if the provocation and downsizing on both end stops (and that goes for both sides – and no offense right now the left wings are doing a lot more provocation and downsizing than the conservative opposition) things will come to a normal situation where nobody really cares. And the radicals will become a minority and isolate themselves.

So now I have written you almost a book, and I apologize on that. I just want you to know, again, and should I have not made that clear in my column than I apologize, that this is not about you or any gay in person, this entire protest of mine goes against the radical idiotic thoughtless, pressuring completely worthless act of Pelosi, Reid and Obama who made you – the gay people – a pawn for their re-election and to snood in the face of the Republicans simply out of invidiousness using you as punching ball.

Thank you Jordan for your reply and thanks for reading, God bless

      1. Tom—I feel rather rude for not coming back to this yet, so I’d just like to thank you for your gracious response. I’ve been digesting it and am simply postponing my reply until I have a little more time to write.

      2. Hi JB,
dont feel rude, I bet my bottom dollar you have a schedule as busy as mine LOL. I wrote 4 columns this week and that besides my work and my son. So I fully understand and take your time. WELCOME BACK

        have a marvelous weekend

  8. Well composed and written. I find it objectionable that we set new standards for individuals based upon their sexual preferences, but then again does the government or the judicial system ever listen to the people?

  9. “Homo – the genus that includes modern humans. The word is originated from the Latin language, meaning “human being” or “man” (in the gender-neutral sense).”

Actually, the “homo” part comes from Greek, meaning “the same.” Homo-sexuality, therefore, is sexual orientation towards members of the same sex. Just one of the many things you are incorrect about.

In general, the will of the majority (and I’m not even sure that most Americans agree with DADT or want gay marriage to be illegal) cannot be used to deny the rights of a minority.

All gay people are asking is to be allowed to say that they’re gay. Many of their fellow service-members already know. If they don’t, then they’ve just anonymously been working side-by-side with gays for probably much longer than they realize. Homosexuality in no way interferes with military duties.

Ultimately, DADT was a policy to compromise between allowing homosexuals in the military and not. It is simply no longer tenable. And, after all, the military is not a democracy. Orders come down from the top and they are to be followed with professionalism, no matter the beliefs of officer or enlisted.
